Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

PBS EMR (“the App”) is published by Lea's Place, LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us at admin@profitablebs.com.

2. What data we access

• Microphone audio (Android permission RECORD_AUDIO) – captured only when you record a voice note or join a voice call.
• Call metadata – phone number you dial or receive, call start/stop timestamps.
• Crash & diagnostic data – anonymised logs that help us improve app stability.

3. How we use your data

• Deliver the core features of the App: recording voice notes and enabling in-app telephone calls.
• Transcribe the voice notes and upload them to the EMR system.
• Record telephone calls(if that feature is enabled for your company).
• Route call audio through our secure, encrypted signalling servers solely for the duration of the call.
• Analyse aggregated crash logs to detect bugs; logs contain no audio or personal content.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell or monetise your data. It is protected by HIPAA. Audio and call metadata are shared only with:

• Telephony provider (e.g. Twilio) – to connect calls.

All third-party processors are bound by data-processing agreements and comply with GDPR/CCPA where applicable.

5. Data retention & deletion

• Voice note transcriptions and phone call audio data(if feature enabled) are stored for a minimum of 7 years.
• You may request full deletion of server-side data at any time by emailing admin@profitablebs.com.

6. Security

Audio streams and metadata are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Server data is stored using AES-256 at rest. We apply least-privilege access controls for all staff.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us for deletion.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you by updating the “Effective date” above and, for significant changes, via an in-app notice.
